JD Howell is a photographer inspired by the people around him and intrigued by all things human. JD draws from his past experiences and interpersonal relationships to create work that addresses the being in all of us. Specializing in creative portraiture, unique lifestyle, and candidly capturing the beauty within the mundane.

Since 2007 I have had the good fortune to see some incredible parts of the world with some special people at my side. Amidst my journeys I have experienced a few rare situations and observed some very interesting characters - living and dead. Throughout I was always looking for that one shot to sum up the situation in a unique yet aesthetically sound manner. I am excited to share with you those shots in the new Travel section. I will continue to populate this gallery as more adventures unfold.
